Engaging Israel

5 Sundays from 9 - 11:30 am
October 16, November 20, December 18, January 29, March 4

All too often Israel divides American Jews today. Some argue that Israel is facing an existential threat-an external one. Others argue that Israel is facing an existential threat-an internal one.

This course is going to have two purposes: To enable people who disagree about Israel to love Israel in spite of her challenges and our disagreements, and to move the conversation from a narrative of crisis to a narrative of meaning, purpose and joy. We will study texts, hear lectures from Hartman's teachers, and have conversations, that will put the hope back into Hatikvah.

This is not a continuation of last year. New learners are most welcome!
No charge. To reserve a space email: adultlearning@templeemanuel.com

Many thanks to the Brezniak Chapel Fund for its support of this program.
