Purim is Coming!
Wednesday, March 23, 2016
*Mincha/Ma’ariv takes place at 5:45 pm in Reisman Hall
We’ll have both…
A Cabaret and Traditional, Full Megillah Reading
AND An Abbreviated, Family Style Megillah Service
(featuring music from Annie!)
Be sure to bring money with you for matanot l’evyonim
(Purim tzedakah) to purchase a pasta grogger
and make a donation to Yad Chessed!
AND THE FUN CONTINUES…
Thursday morning, March 24th at 6:30 am with morning minyan and a full megillah reading. The Purim Carnival will be held on Sunday, March 27.
We are looking for members of ALL AGES
to read megillah in BOTH services
Reading megillah (there are short sections to read in both Hebrew and English) in the ‘Family-style' abbreviated service in the Rabbi Chiel Sanctuary is a great opportunity for you and your child/ren to be involved in leading/participating in a FUN way in an important ritual celebration.
If you've read before it's time to sign up again!
If you've never read here at Temple Emanuel but would like to, NOW IS THE TIME!
