Upcoming Program

Monday, March 26, at 8:00 pm
at Temple Emanuel
Temple Emanuel is proud to host a community-wide Town Hall meeting with six members of Knesset (MKs) representing a diverse cross-section of Israeli political opinion. The MKs' visit to Boston is part of a joint project of the Ruderman Family Foundation and Brandeis University.
Now in its second year, the Ruderman Fellows Program is designed to strengthen the relationship between and among key Israeli political leaders and the American Jewish community. The inaugural class of six Ruderman Fellows represented a spectrum of Israeli political leadership and included members of the next generation of political leaders in Israel - Avi Dichter and Ronit Tirosh of the Kadima party, Tzipi Hotovely and Carmel Shama of Likud and Eitan Cabel and Danny Ben Simon of Labor. The 2012 Ruderman Fellows will be announced shortly.
The successful launch of the Ruderman Fellows Program provided clear evidence that interaction with key American political and Jewish leaders plays a significant role in furthering the understanding that members of Knesset have of American priorities and the political and cultural landscape within which these priorities are framed.
