Passing the Legacy of Shoah Remembrance
Tikkun

Last year's event took place on April 12, 2010 and included the showing of a new documentary film produced by award winning cinematographer, Naomi Raiselle. This film features a number of members of our Temple Emanuel community that were directly affected by the Shoah.
A multi-generational candle lighting ceremony concluded the Holocaust Memorial Service.
The following 20 minute video provides a glimpse of the evening's commemoration and shows highlights of the evening. It does not however include the full Tikkun film. Copies of the full DVD are available in the Rabbi Marshall R. Lifson Library for checkout.
These links provide written copies of the remarks given during the evening. In addition, a slideshow of the evening and an electronic version of the survivors stories is provided.
