Under the talented direction of our music and choral director, Eugenia Gerstein, Kol Keff!, Kol Kapella and our new group the Mazaltones are open to all Temple Emanuel children, grade one and up, who love to sing. Temple Emanuel Religious School and Day School students are invited.
The children enjoy performing a wide repertoire of music including modern Israeli, liturgical, and even rap. The choirs sing a range of Jewish and Israeli music and perform at synagogue and community events throughout the year.
We are proud to offer this fun, spirited activity to our kids and the Temple Emanuel community!
Rehearsal Schedule:
- Kol Keff (1st through 3rd graders) : Sunday mornings, 11:30 am to 11:55 am
- Kol Kapella (4th and 5th graders) : Sunday mornings, 11:55 am to 12:40 pm
- Mazaltones (High School) : 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm
