Na Likroh!  Let's Read Jewish Books!

Sunday, September 18, 2011             10:15-11:30 am

Come and be introduced to the world of Jewish books! Together, with a parent, each child will design his/her own book bag and bookmark, visit Temple Emanuel‘s Rabbi Lifson Library and choose their first book to take home and get started reading together! Parents engage in a discussion with our librarian highlighting the library‘s selection of Jewish books for all ages.

The Bedtime Shema

Bedtime is a special time for young children and their parents. Memories of loving bedtime rituals last a lifetime, and are often reenacted by the next generation and their children. Our tradition offers an especially beautiful opportunity to bring a Jewish flavor to bedtime. Please bring your children in their PJ's as we explore a Jewish way to end the day!
