Israel Action Committee

The Israel Action Committee supports Israel through educational programs and co-sponsors the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program for special needs children at Haifa's Congregation Moriah.

The Israel Action Committee of Temple Emanuel works to inform and educate our community about Israel and how to advocate on Israel's behalf. The Committee supports Israel through educational programs and special events throughout the year. We also co-sponsor the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program for special needs children at Haifa's Congregation Moriah.

Each fall, in association with other Newton synagogues, the Combined Israel Education Committee presents a series of lectures to the community at-large. Additional speakers are invited to the Temple during the year.
