Travel to Israel

"As your Rabbi, on Rosh Hashanah, I am telling you that going to Israel is the single most urgent mitzvah you can do this year. If I can get you to do only one mitzvah this year, go to Israel."- Rabbi Wes Gardenswartz - Rosh Hashanah 5772 Sermon
"...Go to Israel, to connect for ourselves and show our children the nation at the core of the Jewish soul." - Rabbi Michelle Robinson - Rosh Hashanah 5772 Sermon
We encourage all of our members, of all ages, to travel to Israel. Whether you are a teen participating in our Passport to Israel program, are interested in traveling alone or in a group, or are going for your first trip or your eighteenth, we hope you will travel to Israel soon!
We had two synagogue trips to Israel in 2006 and 2009, and a group of our members traveled to Jerusalem last summer and will travel there again this summer to take part in the Shalom Hartman Institute's Annual Lay Leadership Summer Study Retreat from June 27 through July 4, 2012. View the photo album from last year's trip.
Whether you travel with the synagogue, alone or with friends or family, on a sightseeing, study or volunteer mission...we hope you will go to Israel this year.
Start here to help find a trip that's perfect for you! We hope you'll visit Israel soon...Nesi'ah Tovah!
