Ruach Shabbat
![]() | |
Ruach Shabbat services for school age children in kindergarten through grade 5 are held from 10:45 am to Noon each week.
Ruach Shabbat begins each week with Jewish games and activities, and is followed with a service filled with spirited prayer, engaging music, interactive learning and fun. Each of our dynamic Ruach Shabbat leaders offers an age-appropriate service that makes prayer meaningful. All children then participate with the entire congregation in the conclusion of the morning services in the Rabbi Samuel Chiel Sanctuary, and join the full community at our weekly Kiddush immediately following services.
Special Ruach Shabbat services are held each month - a Birthday service, a Discovery Service and a Family Service. Birthday Shabbat is a monthly celebration during our Ruach Shabbat service honoring all of our children who have birthdays that month. Our Ruach Shabbat Discovery Service is a professionally led short service followed by family friendly activities and games. Click on the link to read the full descriptions of these monthly service.
And, once a month is our Ruach Shabbat Family Service, a lay-led service that enables parents and school age children to participate together. Click on the link to read the full description of this magical service.
