We look forward to welcoming you at one or more of our Sisterhood Programs this year!

Bubbie's Secrets is Back!

This is a wonderful opportunity to channel your "inner Bubbe" and cook a new dish that smells like you've been preparing it for many years! Learn from our own experts....the TE Bubbe's. This year, we are having three program dates, September 18th, December 18th and March 4th. Our first session is fully subscribed, but if you wish to be placed on the waiting list, please contact Barbara Litwin. Please note time and local location will be announced for future dates.

Book Group

Now just might be a perfect opportunity to join a Sisterhood's Wednesday morning book group. The first meeting is Wednesday, September 14 from 9:30am-11:00am. The book discussions are held in member's homes. If you are interested, please contact Renee Glazier or Marcia Leifer.

Yoga-for-the-Soul Minyan

Rabbi Michelle Robinson and Michelle Silberman, Yoga Instructor

Sundays, Temple Emanuel, 9:00 to 10:00 am
Nov 20, Dec 4, Feb 5, Mar 11, Jun 10 & 24.

Our rabbis taught us that the soul is joined intimately to the body. The two move together, and each can be used in the service of God. In this innovative morning minyan we will be using our bodies to pray, our voices to chant, and movement to connect with holiness the Jewish way. Come awaken your senses as you awaken your soul. Expect an uplifting morning service and a great sweat.

No previous yoga or davening experience is necessary. Dress for comfort. Bring a yoga mat (if you have one) or a large towel (if you don't have a mat), a small towel, and a bottle of water

New participants always welcome!
