These grade level Shabbat offerings are organized so that ALL Temple Emanuel families can connect and meet others with similar age children in a relaxed, informal setting.

Shabbat is more beautiful when you share it with family and friends. Each of these Shabbat
dinner and service programs is offered for ALL Temple Emanuel families with children in the appropriate grades. Please join us for a delicious Shabbat dinner (5:30 pm) followed by Shabbat Alive! services (6:30 pm) and dessert.
Wednesday - Sunday, December 2-6, 2015
Renowned Jewish artist Mordechai Rosenstein's art in vibrant shapes and colors enhance
synagogues and homes worldwide. By uniting his interest in Judaica and painting,
Rosenstein has given a contemporary meaning to the art of Hebrew calligraphy. Mordechai
will teach our community and share his works with us throughout this long weekend. He will
create art with many ages and groups in our congregation from pre-school through seniors.
Mordechai Rosenstein's artwork will be available for purchase during the weekend. Watch

Friday - Saturday, January 22-23, 2016
ALL 4th and 5th graders are encouraged to spend a Shabbat in Shul filled with ruach,
friends (old and new) and lots of fun! ALL students in our community are invited to
share Shabbat together beginning Friday evening with dinner, services, and fun activities
followed by a sleepover in the synagogue, participation in age-appropriate Youth services
on Shabbat morning, Kiddush and then returning home. A joint effort of the Family and
Informal Youth Education departments.
Saturday, January 30, 2016 5 - 8 pm
This winter program will start with a light dinner followed by a participatory Havdalah service. Then it's movie night with refreshments for ALL! Multiple movies for different ages and tastes will be shown. Watch for details!
May 13 - 15, 2016 at Camp Yavneh
Attend CAMP TE! Experience Jewish overnight camping with your family! Bring your family and participate in our new and improved synagogue-wide CAMP TE! for ALL Temple Emanuel members this coming May at Camp Yavneh in New Hampshire. Encourage your synagogue friends to join you for this amazing community-wide experience. Appropriate for ALL ages! Relax and enjoy as we celebrate Shabbat together. Also, relax with a book or go swimming or boating in the lake. Hang out with friends. Study and schmooze with our retreat Rabbi. All accommodations, meals, snacks, recreational and educational activities and childcare are included in the weekend package. Registration info will be sent out in January.
