Annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration

April 7 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Beginning at 6:00pm – 15-minute in-person silent procession and yahrzeit candle lighting. Register in advance for the procession here.

Please meet at the Gazebo. Participants must adhere to all masking and social distancing guidelines.

7:00pm – Watch the film, Tikkun. Eleven years have passed since several of our members directly impacted by the Shoah participated in this powerful film. Watch the film together on livestream, or on your own time here. The film is appropriate for older elementary/middle school and up.

7:30pm – Join us for Evening Minyan. Kaddish will be said for the Six Million

8:00pm – Our commemoration continues on livestream  as our Rabbis engage in dialogue with four of our members who were featured in Tikkun as they discuss how their world has changed since 2010. Please join us for this emotional and important event.

Please consider making a donation to our TE Brotherhood in memory of a Holocaust victim by clicking here or using the envelope that comes with the candle. The Brotherhood sponsors the Yellow Candle program and uses the funds to support Shoah education for our youth.
