DESCRIPTION:This bereavement group is open to adult children who have lost an elder parent or elder spouses who have lost a spouse\, partner or friend within the last year. \nDisclaimer: We ask that all dialogue and information shared during the group discussion remain confidential to the participants. \nThere is no cost to attend- but registration is required. This series is open to Temple Emanuel members as well as the greater community. \nSession Dates: May 19\, May 26\, June 2\, June 9 on Zoom \nContact Tracy Schneider at Tracys120@yahoo.com for the zoom link and registration. \n\n\n\nAbout the Facilitator\, Jay Maenhout \nJay Maenhout serves as the Coordinator of Bereavement & Spiritual Care for West River Hospice\, where he supports individuals and families navigating grief and life’s most challenging transitions. He is a certified Grief Support Specialist and End-of-Life Doula. In addition to his hospice work\, Jay serves on the Education & Outreach Committee for the Parmenter Foundation\, a MetroWest nonprofit dedicated to providing bereavement support and community education around grief. Through his professional and volunteer roles\, Jay is committed to creating compassionate spaces where people can share their stories\, honor their loved ones\, and find support in community. \n\n\n\nBereavement Group is sponsored by West River Care.
