Order Your Hoshana Branches for Hosahana Rabbah!
September 30 - October 8
One of the best celebratory days of our Liturgical calendar is the last day of Sukkot. It is a separate holy day known as Hoshana Rabbah. We pull out all the stops! The melodies are from all High Holy Days and the festivals. We open the Ark, take out a Torah scroll, and parade with seven times around the Gann Chapel with our Lulav and Etrog. But the best is saved for last. We take willow branches, known as Hosahanot, and beat the leaves off them!
If you would like a Hoshana set, please contact Hazzan Sheni/Ritual Director Dan Nesson in advance, Hag Sameach!
