For girls in 7th through 12th grade

Rosh Hodesh is a program designed specifically for young Jewish girls to build community, develop friendships, bolster self-esteem, gain leadership skills, and grapple with their Jewish identity together.

April 11th – Counting the Omer / Destressing

Iyyar is the master-month of stress-reduction. Our tradition offers us ways to manage anxiety, ways to build confidence and comfort and calm. This month, we’re going to be making lavender bean bags that can be heated/cooled to relieve stress and learn about Jewish de-stressing wisdowm.

May 16th – Shavuot/Wisdom

As the Jewish people celebrate receiving Torah, we are focusing on all of the wisdom we have received over the past year. We’re going to be reflecting on our “first fruits,” the blessings that are just starting to burst through. We’re going to be reviewing what we’ve accomplished together, our goals for next year, and building a piece of art collaboratively that honors our process.
