This comical documentary explores the history of the NY accent, what it is, how it evolved, and the love/hate relationship New Yorkers have with it. It showcases writer Pete Hamill, director Penny Marshall, attorney Alan Dershowitz and screenwriter James McBride. It also follows why New Yorkers eat chocolate and drink coffee and how the accent became the vibrant soundtrack of the city.
