In 1984 the classic book, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” became a parenting bible. Why was it so popular? Perhaps because “what to expect” in this new phase of life is every parent’s question. What should we expect to experience in pregnancy, childbirth, the first months, the first years, and beyond?
For those planning to raise Jewish children there’s another layer – what should we expect in planning a Bris/Simchat Bat welcoming ceremony, what Jewish rituals can help make this moment as we become parents most meaningful, what role will Jewish learning and Jewish living play in our lives?
Join us, as together we explore Jewish sources about ceremonies for welcoming babies into the world, profound parenting wisdom, and rituals which can fill your home with joy and blessing.
We can’t wait to learn with you!
