|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until November 7, 2017

with Sherry Holstein and Margaret Ross

Tuesdays evenings, 6 – 7:30 pm
Oct 3 – Nov 7

For the first time in history, many of us in our sixties and seventies can expect to live with health and vitality well into our eighties and beyond. The extension of human longevity is only part of the story. We are pioneers in understanding and making the most of this new stage of life. These vital years of aging are full of potential for learning and growth.

The Wise Aging program, founded at the Jewish Institute of Spirituality, provides new resources and support for “the third chapter” of life. Sample course topics are life review; revitalizing healthy relationships; practicing forgiveness; learning to live with loss; creating relevant rituals; cultivating wisdom; leaving a legacy. Join other Temple Emanuel members in exploring, learning and sharing.

Class size limited to 12 (Open to BOTH Men & Women!)

Margaret Ross and Sherry Moss are both practicing psychotherapists with professional group experience.

Fee:  $50 (Temple Emanuel Members) / $75 (non-members)

Register/Pay online or register by sending your check to the Synagogue’s Blum Executive office.
