SUMMARY:Mixed Company of Yale University: An A Cappella Concert
DESCRIPTION:Sabrina Strapp (member of Temple Emanuel and co-leader of Tot Shabbat ‘22-‘24) is so excited to bring her collegiate a cappella group\, Mixed Company of Yale\, to the Temple Emanuel community! We are delighted to have Temple Emanuel’s own David Rosemberg opening our show with a performance\, followed by a showcase of our group’s favorite a cappella tunes. \nMixed Company is Yale’s oldest all gender\, all genre a cappella group! Their diverse repertoire ranges from pop and rock to jazz and show tunes. They’ve appeared on national television in China and performed in venues on five different continents\, from classrooms to thousand-seat concert halls\, entertaining everyone from preschool students to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. This January\, they cannot wait to share their music with Temple Emanuel and the greater Newton community! Sabrina and David hope you’ll join us for a wonderful night of music and joy amidst these dark times for the Jewish people. \nWe hope to see you on January 7th!
