SUMMARY:Sisterhood Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the beautiful Ocean Edge Resort in Cape Cod for a weekend of connection and community. We’ll enjoy Shabbat and Havdalah services and offer activities such as yoga\, organized walks\, crafts\, book discussion\, mah jongg and canasta\, tikkun olam projects\, and much more! \nWe are excited to welcome Cathy Ladman to our retreat. Cathy is an acclaimed American stand-up comedian\, television writer\, and actress. She was featured in an installment of HBO’s One Night Stand comedy series\, was a guest on The Tonight Show on ten occasions (1989-1992\, 2023)\, and a guest on The Late Show on six occasions (2007-2015). Watch a clip of Cathy Ladman here. \nWe’ll also be offering a retreat book read and discussion of Heart of a Stranger by Rabbi Angela Buchdahl. \nThose who attended our last retreat\, held 10 years ago\, still share stories of the heartfelt moments they experienced. Many formed lasting friendships that began that weekend\, even if they arrived not knowing anyone. \nAll Sisterhood members are welcome! Sisterhood is subsidizing a large portion of the costs. Spaces are limited. \nRegistration is now closed. \nDouble occupancy – $250 (2 full beds OR one full bed and one pullout couch. First come\, first served)\nSingle occupancy – $420 (limited number of rooms available) \nTransportation: attendees are strongly encouraged to arrange carpools to Ocean Edge Resort. \nFinancial Assistance is available if needed.
