Shabbat Talmud Study: The Experience of Suffering & Where to Find Hope

We have a special treat tomorrow, Rabbi Francine Green Roston of Whitefish, Montana. I went to rabbinical school with Rabbi Roston. We were classmates. She is fabulous. She was a super successful congregational rabbi in New Jersey, moved to Montana with her husband and two children, and inherited a neo-Nazi as her neighbor.

Her story compels. Her Torah tomorrow morning from the tractate Berkahot sparkles. Broadly speaking, her Torah tomorrow is about suffering. How are we to understand and respond to the suffering in our lives?

This is one class you will not want to miss.

See you tomorrow at 8:30.

Shabbat shalom,
Wes
