SUMMARY:Sisterhood Tuesday Morning Study Group
DESCRIPTION:With Rabbi Wes Gardenswartz\n\nThe theme of Tuesday Sisterhood Torah study is the power of “And.” How two things that are in direct conflict with one another can both be true. That is true in life. That is true in Torah study. Solomon was the wisest King and the author of Song of Songs\, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. And Solomon violated all the Torah’s rules about a Jewish king. The Torah says not too many horses\, Solomon had too many horses. Not too much silver and gold\, Solomon had too much silver and gold. Not too many foreign wives as they will turn the King’s heart towards the worship of false Gods. Solomon has too many wives and they turned him into an idolater. \nWe will study the Torah\, and we will think about our lives\, through the evocative lens of “And”. \n\nJoin in on Zoom.

SUMMARY:Harvest of What Remains
DESCRIPTION:Active Older Adults presents a new virtual program: Harvest of What Remains on Wednesday\, March 11th\, 6:30pm on Zoom. \n\n\n\nPlease join us for an hour of poetry dedicated to the caregiver. This collection of poems navigates Wendy Drexler’s journey as the primary caregiver for her husband as Alzheimer’s rewrites their relationship. \n\n\nWendy Drexler is a recipient of a 2022 artist fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Her fourth collection\, Harvest of What Remains\, received honorable mention for the Paul Nemser Prize and was published in February 2026 by Lily Poetry Review Books. This collection navigates her journey as the primary caregiver for her husband as Alzheimer’s wraps its great arms around them\, irrevocably reshaping their relationship and summoning deep wells of grief\, survival strategies\, and the imperative to sow seeds of love and compassion. \n\n\n\n\nHer poems have appeared in Barrow Street\, J Journal\, Mid-American Review\, Nimrod\, Pangyrus\, Prairie Schooner\, The Sun\, and The Threepenny Review\, among others. She was awarded the 2025 E.E. Cummings prize from the New England Poetry Club. A recipient of the Juror’s Prize for Art on the Trails\, Southborough\, MA\, in 2021\, Wendy served as poet in residence at New Mission High School in Hyde Park\, MA\, from 2018-2023\, and as programming co-chair for the New England Poetry Club from 2016–2024. She currently serves on the Club’s advisory board. SUMMARY:Yoga Minyan
DESCRIPTION:With Michelle Silberman Hubbard\, Yoga Instructor  \nSundays mornings | 9 – 10 am \nOur rabbis taught us that the soul is joined intimately to the body.  The two move together and each can be used in the service of God.
