This new bereavement group is open to adult children who have lost an elder parent or elder spouses who have lost a spouse, partner or friend within the last year.

There is no cost to attend- but registration is required. This series is open to Temple Emanuel members as well as the greater community.

Shoshana Savitz, MSW, LICSW, MPH is a licensed clinical social worker at Hebrew Senior Life Hospice in Dedham, MA where she also serves as the bereavement coordinator. She has over 25 years of experience working as a medical social worker in health care settings such as the VA, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Lahey Clinic and in the Jewish community as a case manager at Jewish Family services in Framingham MA.
Shoshana lives with her husband, their 15 year old daughter, and their dog Ralph, in Natick, MA and is an active member of her synagogue there.
