About ONOT
ONOT means seasons.
“For everything there is a season…a time for building, a time for laughing, a time for loving, a time for dancing.”
Named by Nomie Bental, dance instructor from 2016-2024, in ONOT, we travel through the seasons, we grow as people and as dancers.
ONOT dance program provides structured educational and social opportunities for students to develop friendships, and have fun while exploring Jewish and Israeli culture, heritage, and traditions through Israeli Dance. ONOT invites dancers in kindergarten through 12th grade, of all ability levels, to join its program and does not require prior dance experience to participate.
Younger students dance during Religious School or Kesher hours. Older groups rehearse on Sundays after Religious School. Dancers learn harkada (recreational Israeli dances that are danced throughout the world) as well as original performance pieces (performing 4-6 times a year) that reflect the many different cultural influences in Israel.
Cost:
$25 – costume/t-shirt fee for students enrolled in the TE Religious School
$180 – Instruction, costume/t-shirt free for students not enrolled in the TE Religious School

Avi lives in Sharon, loves watching sports and hanging out with friends, and attends Massasoit Community College.
