Make Your Own Mosaic Mezuzah

May 31 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join mosaic muralist and CJP/Vilna Shul Community Creative Fellow Mia Schon for a two hour, beginner-friendly mosaic workshop where you’ll create a beautiful mezuzah and explore the mosaic medium.
You’re invited to bring something meaningful from your own life, if you’d like, such as a broken plate or small object to incorporate into your mezuzah. Mia will gently guide you through this process, though it is not required. All materials will be provided.

Together, we’ll explore the wonderful medium of mosaic and the beauty found in the broken, reflecting on memory, symbolism, and lineage through making. Each participant will leave with a completed mezuzah and a new creative skill!
