Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle Assembly & Delivery

March 12 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Candle Assembly – Thursday, March 12 // 4pm – 8pm in Adelson Hall

On Yom HaShoah we remember the individuals, families, communities and institutions destroyed during the Holocaust along with the lessons learned so that it never happens again. Join our Religious School students and the Temple Emanuel Brotherhood as we assemble the Yom HaShoah yellow candles to be lit on April 13. This meaningful experience is a way to remember, reflect, and make a difference.

Pizza will be served!

Candle Pick-up for Delivery – Leventhal Sidman Community Court

To underscore the importance of lighting these candles on Yom HaShoah, the Brotherhood will be coordinating the hand delivery of them by April 12th in time for Yom HaShoah. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to volunteer. It’s a rewarding experience for the whole family and a great opportunity for community service!

Sign up HERE to help us deliver candles to TE members who live in our community. We need more than 100 volunteers to ensure every local TE family is reached. At a time when remembrance matters more than ever, your participation is deeply appreciated.

Volunteer Pick-up Dates & Times: March 15 @ 11:00am-2:00pm; March 16 @ 6:00pm-7:30pm; and March 19 @ 5:00pm-7:00pm. Alternatives available if you are unavailable during these dates!
