Tikkun Leil Shavuot – An Evening of Learning (Including Religious School/ Tots Programming), Food and More!

Tikkun Leil Shavuot is about immersing ourselves in the wisdom of Torah as a way of re-enacting the revelation that took place on Mount Sinai.

Join us for a full evening of learning, beginning with our youngest learners and their families, continuing with a delicious community dinner, and followed by community-wide learning opportunities taught by guest scholars and community members.

Dinner registration deadline is May 14th!

Religious school families – Beginning at 3:45, we will have various family learning sessions taught by our religious school teachers followed by delicious ice cream sundae building! (And please stay for dinner!)
Tot families – Beginning at 5:15. we will climb “Mount Sinai” together and find the Torah! (And please stay for dinner!)

Keynote Speaker: Joshua Foer

Both Sides of the Glass: On the Art of Jewish Self-Consciousness

Author and social entrepreneur Joshua Foer is the co-founder of several initiatives to make Jewish learning and cultural exploration accessible worldwide, including Sefaria, the open-access library of Jewish texts, Lehrhaus, a community hub in Somerville, the Jewish film and TV production company Leviathan, and the design competition Sukkah City. He is also the co-founder of Atlas Obscura and author of Moonwalking with Einstein, an international bestseller published in 37 languages. Josh was recently named one of the 50 most innovative Jews of the last 50 years in Moment Magazine.
