Travel to Israel

israel_img2“As your Rabbi, on Rosh Hashanah, I am telling you that going to Israel is the single most urgent mitzvah you can do this year. If I can get you to do only one mitzvah this year, go to Israel.” – Rabbi Wes Gardenswartz

“…Go to Israel, to connect for ourselves and show our children the nation at the core of the Jewish soul.”  – Rabbi Michelle Robinson

We encourage all of our members, of all ages, to travel to Israel.  Whether you travel with the synagogue, as part of the Myra and Robert Kraft Passport to Israel Program, alone or with friends or family, on a sightseeing, study or volunteer mission…we hope you will go to Israel soon!israel_img1

We had synagogue trips to Israel in 2006, 2009 and 2013, and many of our 9th graders traveled on a Teen Trip to Israel in December 2016. Since 2011, groups of our members traveled to Jerusalem every summer as part of our Hartman Learning Intitiative. We will travel there again this summer to take part in the Shalom Hartman Institute’s Annual Summer Retreat.

We have put together Israel Travel Resources to help you find a trip that’s perfect for you! We hope you’ll visit Israel soon…Nesi’ah Tovah!
