After the Poway shooting, we gathered together in solidarity and in love. Rabbi Gardenswartz cautioned us against despair or fear in the face of this senseless violence. Instead, he invited each of us to envision one new way that we could make the world a better place and encouraged us to get out of our comfort zone.
That is why we are launching TEkun.
Every month, you will receive an email from me in conjunction with the Social Action Committee with information about a few different volunteer opportunities and ways you can get involved. We will coordinate the logistics so that signing up is easy.
