Wellness Programs

The Wellness program series is held from 6:00-7:30pm and is open to the TE community. A light dinner is available from 6:00 – 6:30 pm followed by a speaker from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.

There is no cost, but RSVP’s are requested.

Brotherhood Meeting Night and Meeting After the Meeting

8:00pm – Business Meeting
Join us to learn about upcoming Brotherhood events and initiatives. This is an opportunity to also provide feedback on future programming.

8:45pm – Meeting After the Meeting
Time to play ping pong, foosball, shoot baskets, socialize or just watch the game on TV.

Feel free to join us for either meeting or both! Snacks and drinks served all evening.

Sunday Morning Breakfast Speaker Series

Discussions with experienced experts in their respective fields. Past speakers include Scott Black, Adam Suttin, Larry Glazer, Arnie Eisen, and many more.

Scotch in the Sukkah

Join us for an unforgettable, spirited evening in the sukkah with:
• Unlimited blind tastings of top-shelf scotch (guess what’s what!)
• Rami’s buffet dinner + non-alcoholic drinks
• Your own custom tasting glass to take home

Hanukkah Party

Join us for our annual Hanukkah celebration.

Featuring craft beer tasting stations, Chinese food dinner (from Zhu Vegan in Arlington) and live music (provided again by the Nick Grondin Jazz Trio, regularly appearing on Monday nights at Bluebird Bar, and TE’s very own Elias who will lead us in a few Hanukkah songs). All are welcome!

Brotherhood/Sisterhood Community Shabbat Dinner

A festive Shabbat dinner in Adelson Hall. Schmooze, share, and connect with each other over friendships made and continued.

Brotherhood Shabbat

Brotherhood leads a special Shabbat morning service that honors many of the men who help keep our community vibrant and strong. Be there as we celebrate passing our traditions from generation to generation (l’dor v’dor) with a diverse lineup of participants.

Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle Assembly

Help finish the Yellow Candle packaging so every TE member has a Shoah Yellow Candle to light at sundown. Each yellow candle provided by the TE Brotherhood bears the name of a Jew who perished in the Shoah - either a relative of a congregant or a resident of Dvur Kralove, the town in Czechoslovakia whose Torah scroll continues to serve as a constant visual presence and reminder at Temple Emanuel.

Casino Night

A professionally run poker tournament with professional dealers and a pit boss! The winner will receive a prize and TE bragging rights good for one year.

Join New England's first and oldest weekend retreat for Jewish men in the US for a weekend of fun and learning with outstanding speakers, lay-led worship, sports, music, games, jokes, a campfire, camaraderie, and fabulous food.

Date: June 4-7, 2026

Join Brotherhood in sponsoring the Tour de Shuls bike ride, which is the New England Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs’ fundraiser for the Tikvah program at Camp Ramah New England. The Tikvah program, in existence since 1970, provides for the social, religious and educational needs of campers with a wide range of disabilities.
