Students have made creative, personal sets of “tefillin” which they will wrap as part of a morning service with parents and volunteers on World Wide Wrap Day on February 12!
This program is a user-friendly, hands-on way for kids to get familiar with a traditional Jewish ritual that they will learn more about next year as part of their preparation for becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
We are looking for volunteers to help the students wrap their tefillin. Please Email Larry Glazer to participate.
All TE 5th graders and their grown-ups are encouraged to attend! Contact Ilana Snapstailer with questions.
