From Chesed/Loving Kindness to Gevurah/Courage: Mussar through a Woman’s Lens

The ancient, Jewish practice of Mussar can lead to powerful personal understanding and self-reflection. Whether you have studied Mussar, or are completely new to it, you will be moved and inspired by the ways it can lead to greater self-knowledge and empowerment. Explore the profound ways that the  middot  (traits) of Mussar speak to us as women. This Temple Emanuel course, taught by Laila Goodman, is offered in partnership with Hebrew College Open Circle Jewish Learning. Space is limited. 

This five-session course meets on the following evenings: 3/21, 4/11, 5/2, 5/23 and 6/2.
