We invite you to attend a congregational town hall meeting to offer your ideas and insights on our strategic plan. To enable as many of our members to attend as possible, we are offering three different dates and times as follows:
Sunday morning, March 26: 10:00am in person – Benjamin Vestry
Monday evening, March 27: 6:30pm on Zoom
Thursday evening, March 30: 6:30pm in person – Gann Chapel
Temple Emanuel has been engaged in a months-long strategic plan to help us figure out how to more deeply fulfill the needs of our members, and to more deeply realize our full potential, as we emerge from the pandemic. Many of you have filled out questionnaires and have participated in focus groups and one-on-one conversations. Thank you for doing that.
Based on your feedback, we have identified three strategic priorities:
Get digital right.
Strengthen our community.
Build the Jewish future here.
Our strategic planning committee has presented to our Board of Trustees and to our Board of Directors multiple times this year, iterating on initiatives that might fulfill these worthy goals.
We would now like to present these initiatives to you, our congregation, and listen and learn from your reaction. What do you think? What did we get right? What might we tweak? What did we get wrong? What have we not considered that we should consider? We are seeking your wisdom. Our plan will only be as strong as your input.
