Lily Henley, our JArts fellow, will lead Talmud class this Shabbat. She’ll be singing, playing guitar, and sharing some recordings in the Sanctuary on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. before Shabbat services.
About Lily Henley
Lily Henley is a Sefardi-American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, known for her synergistic exploration of both Sephardi and American folk traditions. The Guardian called Lily’s 2022 album ‘Oras Dezaoradas’ a “fascinating and beautiful release”. The album, a collection of new Ladino Folk Songs was awarded Top of the World by Songlines Magazine, and Best Jewish Album of the Year by Hey Alma Magazine. Over the 3 months, Lily will be doing some workshops for adults and children, participating in Shabbat Alive and at some holidays and concerts.
