Join us as we travel by bus to check out a wonderful outdoor art exhibit sponsored by the Jewish Arts Collaborative. Located in the Fenway Park area, “Be the Change” is an art and activism initiative that is inspired by the Jewish tenet of justice and drawing from the ritualistic Jewish Tzedakah box. ”Be the Change” is about making space to talk about injustice – and to give us all action steps to be agents of change in our local and global communities.
Our Chai385 students and teens will meet with the two artists who created the exhibits and join in conversation with them and our teachers/staff. Then they will enjoy lunch on their own in the Time Out Market near Fenway. Please provide money for lunch and there is the option to bring their own lunch. If lunch is bought at Time Out market it must be dairy as we keep kosher on all Temple Emanuel outings.
This program is in lieu of regular classes at Chai385 (grades 6-8).
